Jozef Bobula is a Las Vegas-based professional bassist with a performance career built inside the production show world. With a master's degree in music performance and decades of stage experience, he brings the technical fluency and professionalism that production environments demand.
He's currently working with Blue Man Group at the Luxor, where he covers both the Chapman stick/bass track and the zither/guitar track. The Chapman stick and zither are highly customized to the show's unique musical language, and Jozef trained on each specifically for the role, a testament to the adaptability and commitment show work requires.
Earlier in his career, Jozef served as Musical Director and featured bassist for "Pin Up" at the Stratosphere for over four years. He has also filled in for productions including the Australian Bee Gees at Excalibur and Legends in Concert at Harrah's Las Vegas, and with Legends at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. As a freelance gig bassist, he has held down the groove behind Wayne Newton and other recognizable stars on Las Vegas stages.
